EVENT | Afrika Burn

South Africa has a special place in my heart. This is where I grew up many years ago. I feel like coming home, every time I visit. My last trip to South Africa had an unusual twist: I participated in “Afrika Burn” which was organized in the middle of the desert of Tankwa Town.

“Afrika Burn” is a regional Burning Man event, bringing the Burning Man culture and believes into the local community of South Africa.

It changed my view on the world, communities and longterm goals. It has brought me freedom “to be and express.” I discovered that, taking part in this event, it literally brought the colors into my life I was so looking for, without even realizing.
